Tragedy in Budiriro as pedestrian killed in hit-and-run accident
A 30-year-old pedestrian lost his life in a horrific hit-and-run accident that occurred on Saturday evening in the Budiriro 2 suburb of Harare.
According to police reports, the incident happened around 8 pm on May 27th along 2nd Street. The unidentified victim was struck by an unknown motorist who failed to stop after the collision.
The pedestrian sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Sally Mugabe Hospital, but he tragically succumbed to his wounds upon arrival.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident and are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have any information about the vehicle involved to come forward.
