Police arrest 37-year-old man for unlawful possession of drugs in Goromonzi
In an operation conducted in response to a tip-off, authorities in Goromonzi apprehended Peter Jongwe (37) for the unlawful possession of dangerous drugs at Borderlands Farm.
During the arrest, law enforcement recovered five cannabis plants, each measuring approximately one meter, that were found growing in the garden. Additionally, a significant discovery was made as a 10-liter bucket filled with cannabis was found concealed inside an unused refrigerator. Three sachets of cannabis were also seized as evidence.
The arrest and subsequent recovery of the drugs highlight the ongoing efforts of the police to combat illegal drug activities in the country.
