Robbery Investigation in Southlea Park, Harare
Police in Southlea Park, Harare are investigating a robbery that occurred at a home in the Fidelity Houses neighborhood on May 11, 2024 around 9 pm.
According to the police report, four unidentified male suspects were traveling in a silver Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicle with an unknown license plate. The suspects, who were armed with pistols, pounced on the victim as he was opening the gate to his house.
The suspects force-marched the victim into his own home, where they proceeded to turn things upside down. The thieves stole several items, including:
– A Galesi .22LR pistol with a magazine containing 4 rounds
– Two cell phones
– US$5,500 in cash
Before fleeing the scene, the suspects disconnected the home’s CCTV system and took the server. They then loaded the stolen goods into the victim’s white Toyota GD6 with license plate AGC 1740 and drove away.
The police are appealing to the public for any information that could assist their investigation. Witnesses or anyone with relevant details are encouraged to contact their nearest police station.
