Mayhem at Mothers Day Party: Jiti music star Baba Harare booed by elderly women

BABA Harare was on Saturday booed by some elderly women who felt that some of his songs were not suitable for them.

The women were holding a Mothers Day party at Lake Chivero.

However, some of the elderly women were not happy with some of the lyrics of the songs and reacted by booing him.

Baba Harare ended up turning to some copyrights, including Ndarangarira Gamba, a hit song by the late Simon Chimbetu and some of Lovemore Majaivana songs.

This appeared to go down well with a lot of the elderly women.

Baba Harare, born Braveman Chizvino, should be praised, though, for remaining committed to the show in a situation where some musicians would have packed their instruments and walked away.

“Regai ndingosanganisa, tikatirovei dzakare tosanganisawo nedzechizvinozvino,” said Baba Harare after finally winning the hearts of the elderly women.

A number of the women showed off their dancing skills.

Some of these women were dancing with the aid of walking sticks. HMetro.
