Former Chivi South legislator, Cde Killer Zivhu, has been reinstated as a member of Zanu PF after the ruling party’s Masvingo provincial leadership recommended his readmission to the party’s Politburo.
Following a recommendation by the party’s national disciplinary committee, the Zanu PF Politburo approved Cde Zivhu’s reentry into the party.
Cde Zivhu had been expelled from Zanu PF in 2020, but now, according to Zanu PF Masvingo provincial chair, Cde Rabson Mavhenyengwa, he is officially back in the party.
“He(Cde Zivhu) is now a Zanu PF member after he was readmitted into the party by the politburo following our recommendation. He has reformed and is a seasoned politician who will bring a lot of experience to the party and will also bring with him his followers,” stated Cde Mavhenyengwa.
Expressing gratitude to President Mnangagwa and the national leadership of the ruling party, Cde Zivhu pledged to immediately engage in active political work. He vowed to tirelessly contribute to the realization of Vision 2030, a national goal aimed at transforming Zimbabwe into an upper middle-income society by the designated year.
Cde Zivhu’s return to Zanu PF has generated optimism within the party, with hopes that his experience and support base will bolster its efforts in achieving its long-term objectives.
