Former ZiFM presenter and producer, Lorraine Bgoya, has been fined for stealing alcohol worth US$29 from Food Lovers Market.

Bgoya, who rose to fame for her show Off the Wall, was yesterday fined US$100.

She was handed a one-month suspended sentence on condition she restitutes Food Lovers Avondale US$29 for the unrecovered bottle by Harare magistrate Gamuchirai Gore.

Bgoya pleaded guilty to stealing 750mls of Malibu without being caught on February 21.

She returned to the shop three days later and went straight to the liquor shelf where she took 750mls of Beefeater London Strawberry gin and hid it inside her handbag.

She was captured on CCTV by internal security personnel, who followed her outside and arrested her.

Bgoya, however, is not the only celebrity to find herself in such trouble and dealing with such humiliation.

The Flash’ star Ezra Miller has been charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont, according to a police report. Vermont State Police revealed they received a burglary complaint back on May 1 2022 and found that several bottles of alcohol were taken from the residence while the homeowners weren’t there, and after an investigation into surveillance videos, police found probable cause to charge Miller with felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.
