The tight-knit community of Domboshava was left in shock after the lifeless body of a 9-year-old boy, Tafadzwa Nema, was discovered hanging from a tree branch.
Authorities are treating the incident as a suspected suicide case and have launched a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking tragedy.
According to sources close to the investigation, it is believed that the young boy had a misunderstanding with his mother Yvonne Mangwendere after he stole a cup full of sugar.
Reports are that his mother threatened to beat him and he ran away.
The boy reportedly did not come back home and the mother assumed he had gone to his grandmother in the nearby village.
