Altercation on ED Mnangagwa Road as motorist assaults kombi driver carrying mourners
A disturbing incident occurred on Saturday at Lewisam on ED Mnangagwa Road when a motorist assaulted a kombi driver who was transporting mourners. The assault was triggered by the kombi hitting the back of the motorist’s vehicle.
Fortunately, several residents and other motorists at the scene intervened to restrain the aggressive motorist. The situation escalated as the mourners united to defend their driver against the assailant.
The incident caused significant disruption on the road, with three kombis displaying stickers of the deceased coming to a halt. The resulting traffic jam extended all the way to Highland Park. Surprisingly, the accident was not reported to the police, and both drivers managed to reconcile and make peace with each other.
