Prominent businessman and Bulawayo South legislator, Cde Raj Modi, has been reappointed as the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce by President Mnangagwa. The President also appointed Cde Sleiman Timios Kwidini as the Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care.
The announcement of these appointments was made in a statement by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya.
According to the statement, Cdes Modi and Kwidini will assume their roles as deputy ministers in their respective ministries with immediate effect. The appointments were made in accordance with Subsection 2 of Section 104 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 20) Act 2013.
Cde Kwidini currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Chiwundura Constituency in Gweru district, Midlands province.
