A man in Bulawayo suffered injuries when a vehicle veered off the road and struck him in a hit-and-run incident. According to the police, the incident took place on Nketa Drive, opposite the Puma Garage. The suspect, driving a silver Honda Fit with registration number ADU 1428, failed to stop after the accident.
Police are now investigating the hit-and-run incident and have issued an appeal for any information that could assist in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
“Police in Nkulumane are investigating a hit-and-run road traffic accident that occurred along Nketa Drive opposite Puma Garage, Bulawayo on 11/01/24 in which a pedestrian was injured when an unknown motorist who was driving a silver Honda Fit registration number ADU 1428 veered off the road to the left and hit the victim who was selling his wares by the roadside. The motorist did not stop after the accident. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” reads the statement.
