Suspects arrested in unlawful entry and theft cases, Mukuru employee disappears with US$15,181

In Norton, law enforcement authorities have apprehended Obey Katsande (21) and Tinashe Andrea (23) in connection with an unlawful entry and theft case. The pair is believed to have broken into the OK Katanga shop, making off with a range of items. Among the recovered items are a laptop, a laptop charger, 39 packets of cigarettes, a travelling bag, a satchel, a Lenovo tablet, and two cell phones.

In a separate incident, Harare police have successfully arrested Regobert Joseph (23), who had been wanted in relation to an unlawful entry and theft case that took place in Mabvuku back in January 2021.

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is seeking information about the whereabouts of Blessed Chanetsa (23), an employee of Mukuru. Chanetsa went missing with a sum of US$15,181 that was intended for disbursement to clients in Kariba on January 1, 2024. The police urge anyone with information regarding Chanetsa’s location to promptly report it to the nearest police station.
