In a disturbing incident that has left the community in distress, a three-month-old baby has been abducted from a salon located in the bustling Harare Central Business District (CBD). The infant, named Pamhidzai Makuwe, has been missing since December 24, prompting a frantic search by authorities and her anguished family.

The unfortunate incident unfolded when Pamhidzai’s mother accompanied a woman, whom she had met just two days prior, to the salon at Market Square. The woman had offered assistance with the baby’s eye problem, and a brief friendship had developed between them. With the approaching Christmas celebrations, the unsuspecting mother agreed to have their hair done together, unaware of the sinister intentions lurking beneath the surface.

Tragically, once inside the salon, the woman vanished without a trace, taking Pamhidzai with her. Overwhelmed by grief and concern, the devastated mother immediately reported the heart-wrenching abduction to the police. Desperate for any leads or information that could help locate her precious child, Pamhidzai’s mother has made a public plea, urging anyone with knowledge of her baby’s whereabouts to contact her.

“We reported the matter to the police and they gave us a reference number.

“Anyone with information of Pamhidzai’s whereabouts can contact her 0786 904 161.”
