She explained that on December 27, 2023, the police began monitoring the house and observed a significant number of young individuals, ranging from 14 to 22 years old, frequently visiting the premises to purchase dagga through a window.
Taking swift action on December 28, around 11 AM, the police executed a raid on the property, resulting in the arrest of the five accused individuals. They were found smoking dagga inside the residence. Patrice Ndlovu, who was residing in the house, was identified as the primary individual involved in the illegal sale of drugs. Subsequently, the police discovered 10 sachets of dagga, two bottles of broncleer, one sachet of the drug known as CAT, and various drug-packaging plastic sachets in Ndlovu’s bedroom.

She also took the opportunity to urge parents and guardians to be vigilant, closely monitoring the activities of their children and the locations they frequent.
The arrest serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for law enforcement efforts to combat drug-related activities and ensure community safety. Through collaborative efforts between the police and the public, it is hoped that such operations will continue to dismantle drug networks and deter individuals from engaging in illegal drug use and distribution.
In the fight against drug abuse, it is crucial for society to remain vigilant and proactive.
