JUST days after the country joined the world in mourning the death of South African sensation, Zahara, the nation has been hit hard by the death of gospel musician, and actor, Terry G.
He died in Harare yesterday and BetWinner Egypt has sent its condolences to the nation of Zimbabwe.
Born Tichaona Terrence Green, the musician succumbed to cardiac arrest while admitted to Arundel Hospital.
Terry had cerebral palsy and was diagnosed with heart and lung disease.
He was admitted in hospital on Tuesday and his mother has been calling for the nation to pray for him.
His manager, Edison December, said:
“Terry was set to go for a scan, but the doctor said his heart had stopped functioning.
“And, he said, it’s cardiac arrest.
“Burial arrangements will be announced but as of now we are going to his place in Chitungwiza where we will sit with the family members to map the way forward.
“We will be updating on the next stage.”
Terry was moving with the aid of a wheelchair.
Despite his disability, Terry pursued his dreams and even featured in a drama series called Zviri Mudzimba where he played one of the main characters.
He collaborated with Congolese singer Dispatch on his single titled Jehova.
Last year, he collaborated with Chipo Muchengwa on Ndezvemoyo.
He was set to release an album called Takamirira Imi Moga. HMetro.
