Manhunt launched in Bulawayo after hit-and-run incident leaves pedestrian injured
Authorities in Bulawayo have initiated a comprehensive search for an unidentified motorist who fled the scene after running over a pedestrian.
The incident took place along the Bulawayo-Gwanda Road on December 7, 2023, leaving law enforcement officers determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
In an official statement, the police called upon the public to provide any information that could aid in the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect involved in the hit-and-run incident.
“Police in Bulawayo are investigating a serious hit-and-run road traffic accident that occurred along Bulawayo-Gwanda Road on 07/12/23 in which one person was injured after he was hit by an unknown motorist who was driving an unknown motor vehicle. The motorist did not stop after the accident. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” the statement read.
