Alick Macheso and sons set to mesmerize Kwekwe in a spectacular sungura showcase

The renowned sungura maestro, Alick Macheso, will be returning to Kwekwe this Friday, gracing the stage at Gulez Gardens alongside his talented sons, Esau and Tatenda.

Having previously drawn a packed venue and enthralled his devoted fanbase during his last performance at Gulez Gardens in August, Baba Shero is poised to recreate that magical atmosphere once again. Show promoter, Yellow Malewa, expressed his excitement at hosting one of Zimbabwe’s finest musicians and the esteemed Macheso family.

“We are always happy to host one of the best musicians ever to emerge from Zimbabwe. He is coming with his two sons who are also doing well in their own right and we are elated to be hosting the first family of sungura,” shared Malewa.

The Entertainment Manager of Gulez Gardens, Fidelis (DJ Fidel) Isaacs, unveiled the enhanced venue, which promises to provide an exceptional experience for attendees. The venue has undergone upgrades, including the addition of a roof, ensuring that rain will not dampen the spirits of the revellers.
