In a harrowing incident that unfolded on November 22nd, a family in Harare fell victim to a terrifying robbery orchestrated by six armed suspects wielding machetes, knives, and iron bars.
The assailants managed to escape with a substantial sum of US$10,000. The Zimbabwe Republic Police has issued a statement, urging anyone with information to come forward and report to their nearest Police Station.
According to the official statement released by the police, the robbery took place at a residence located on Airton Close in Prospect, Waterfalls. The robbers, who were armed with dangerous weapons, targeted the household, attacking three family members.
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of robbery which occurred on 22/11/23 at a house along Airton Close, Prospect, Waterfalls. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” police posted on X.
