A shocking incident unfolded in the village of Muzyanina, Chief Pashu area, as a friendly gathering turned violent, leaving one man hospitalized and his cousin facing legal consequences.
Moses Masina, a resident of Binga, is currently recovering at a local hospital in Bulawayo after being struck on the head with a stone by his cousin, Intelligent Mudimba, during a heated dispute that occurred while they were enjoying a few beers together.
According to a report filed with the police, the unfortunate incident took place at a popular gathering spot known as Tinde. The cousins, both in their early twenties, were engaged in an intense exchange of words that quickly escalated into an altercation. Witnesses claim that tensions flared, leading Mudimba to seize a nearby stone, which he wielded forcefully, striking Masina on the head with a single, devastating blow. The force of the impact caused a severe head injury and left Masina with a visibly swollen face.
The shocking attack left Masina unconscious and in critical condition, prompting swift action from those present. Concerned individuals immediately rushed him to the nearby District Hospital, where medical professionals quickly assessed the severity of his injuries. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, they made the decision to transfer Masina to Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo for further specialized care.
