Brutal Attack Claims Man’s Life as Seven Assailants Unleash Violence
In a shocking incident that unfolded on Sunday, a man tragically lost his life after being viciously attacked by a group of seven individuals armed with bricks and empty beer bottles. The victim, identified as Malvern Paul, bravely intervened to refrain a man from assaulting his girlfriend, only to face a brutal backlash.
According to the police, the attack took place at Gail Court, located at the intersection of 8th Street and Samora Machel Avenue in Harare. Malvern Batsirai, one of the suspects, along with his six accomplices, launched a ferocious assault on Malvern Paul, resulting in his untimely demise.
Law enforcement authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the arrest of the remaining suspects involved in this heinous crime.
“Police in Harare are investigating a case of murder in which Malvern Paul (44) died after being attacked with bricks and empty beer bottles by Malvern Batsirai (34) and six other suspects at Gail Court, corner 8th Street and Samora Machel Avenue on 05/11/23.”
“The victim had tried to refrain Malvern Batsirai from assaulting his girlfriend. Police have since arrested Malvern Batsirai in connection with the case. Six suspects who include Gaza Cartel, Dhadza, and Tsomutsomu are on the run. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” reads the statement.
