Tragedy struck when a 28-year-old man lost his life after falling from the rear bumper of a commuter omnibus. The incident took place on October 25, 2023, along Highglen Road, specifically after the Marimba traffic lights.
According to a statement released by the police, they are currently investigating this fatal road traffic accident. The man, who was riding on the rear bumper of a Toyota Hiace kombi, tragically fell and sustained fatal injuries.
The police statement reads, “Police in Harare are investigating a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 25/10/23 along Highglen Road, after Marimba traffic lights. A man (28) who was riding on the rear bumper of a Toyota Hiace kombi died after falling down.”
