A tragic incident unfolded at Mangalisa Business Centre in Sipepa when a teenager, reportedly on the run, allegedly stabbed a man to death following a disagreement over a snooker game.
The police have identified the alleged perpetrator as Dumolwakhe Professor Tshuma, 18 years old, who is currently being sought. His accomplice, Prince Tshuma, 25, has been arrested in connection with the crime.
According to the police statement, the incident took place on October 26, 2023. Dumolwakhe Professor Tshuma is accused of fatally stabbing Coven Moyo, 28, in the chest with an Okapi knife after a dispute arose during their snooker game. The police are now appealing to the public for any information that can assist in locating the suspect.
“Police in Sipepa are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Dumolwakhe Professor Tshuma (18) who is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Mangalisa Business Centre, Sipepa on 26/10/23 in which Coven Moyo (28) died.”
“The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim with an okapi knife once on the chest after a misunderstanding over a snooker game. The Police have since arrested the suspect’s accomplice, Prince Tshuma (25) in connection with this case,” the police statement reads.
