A Bulawayo man is on the run after allegedly hitting his wife with a leather belt, resulting in her death.
In a statement, police said the incident occurred on 18 October 2023 at a house in Cowdray Park.
Nesisa Ncube assaulted his wife.
The victim was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to injuries she sustained.
Police appealed for information that may led to the suspect’s arrest.
“Police in Bulawayo are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of Nesisa Ncube who is being sought in connection with a case of murder in which he allegedly hit his wife with a leather belt on 18/10/23 at a house in Cowdray Park.
“The victim succumbed to the injuries she sustained during the attack whilst admitted at a hospital in Bulawayo on 19/10/23. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station,” read the statement.
