Tragic incident: Elderly Woman Dies After Falling into Deep Well While Fetching Water
In a heartbreaking incident, a 74-year-old woman from Masukume Village, under Chief Malisa in Silobela, lost her life after slipping and falling into a 10-meter deep well while attempting to fetch water.
Midlands provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, confirmed the unfortunate event. The elderly woman was successfully retrieved from the water but unfortunately passed away while being transported to the hospital.
