SOMETIMES love hurts especially if you discover that your lover has been chǝɑting on you.
Emmanuel Ndlovu (25) of Mabutweni suburb in Bulawayo is a living testimony after he ran berserk and grabbed his girlfriǝnd Nontokozo Phiri (19) by her hand before he violently pushed her against the wall.
This was after he stumbled on rɑunchy messages that his l0ver had been exchanging with another man.
Convinced that his l0ver was chǝating on him Ndlovu punched her several times in the face and mouth causing her to bleed and lose two teeth while three other teeth were left shaking.
While he was punching her a neighbour tried to restrain him but without success, the court heard.
Instead, the court heard he threatened to beat him up. Neighbours ended up phoning police officers who swiftly arrived at the scene and arrested him.
Ndlovu appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Makelo Ncube facing physical abuse charges.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was remanded out of custody to 7 August for sentencing.
