In a horrifying ordeal, a group of six unknown assailants left a motorist battered and bruised after allegedly bashing him with an iron bar and making off with his truck. The terrifying incident reportedly occurred on July 18, 2023, at Retreat Farm in Waterfalls.
According to police reports, the suspects pulled the driver off his Hino Dutro 2 truck before hitting him with an iron bar. They then tied up the victim’s hands and legs before stealing the vehicle.
The incident has sparked a manhunt for the perpetrators, with police urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
In a statement released to the press, the Harare Police Department appealed to the public, saying, “Police in Harare are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a case of robbery which occurred on 18/07/23 at Retreat Farm, Waterfalls where a Hino Dutro 2 truck was stolen by six unknown suspects.”
