Rap star Holy Ten has sparked controversy after splurging on an expensive VW Polo push gift for wife Kimberley – while allegedly failing to properly support his first child with another woman.
Holy Ten bought the car for Kimberley to celebrate the birth of their baby boy last weekend, but fans slammed the extravagant gift as a ‘shame’ given his behaviour towards his first child.
In March, baby mama Chelsea exposed Holy Ten for allegedly abandoning their 4-month-old son and refusing to pay more than US$150 in child support when she demanded US$350.
Twitter users questioned Holy Ten’s parenting, with one calling him a ‘man who could do a lot for his yellow-born chick but punish his son’.
Another said: “Holy Ten recently claimed an unstable income and begged the court to pay a US$150 stipend for his first child. But he has enough for a new car. If you neglect the child you sired, you’re less of a man.”
A third tweeted: “Just recently Holy Ten was pretending he couldn’t afford his first child’s upkeep. But he can splash out on an expensive car for his new wife. I don’t rate him.”
While expensive ‘push gifts’ for new mothers are common, the controversy over Holy Ten’s gift centers on claims he failed to properly provide for his first child – while lavishing money on his new wife and their baby.
