Top South African musician Makhadzi has showered Zimbabwean comedienne Madam Boss with a R34,000 cash gift to celebrate the birth of her second daughter.
Makhadzi congratulated Madam Boss on Facebook, saying she wanted to fly in and see the “beautiful special baby”. Madam Boss then proudly showed off the bank notification for the R34k deposited by Makhadzi on her Instagram story.
It’s not the only gift Madam Boss has received following the birth – Nhlanhla Mafu from the group Mafikizolo also sent an undisclosed “makorokoto” (gift). In her post thanking Nhlanhla, Madam Boss said “Thank you Nhlanhla Mafu my friend, I really appreciate just receiving the makorokoto, thanks hun.”
The generous cash gift from Makhadzi, one of South Africa’s biggest music stars at the moment, shows the close bond between the two performers.
