Epworth resident Benjamin Mupombwe (30) has landed himself in hot soup after lobbing stones at President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s motorcade in a bizarre attack last week!
Witnesses say Ben saw the presidential convoy driving down Julius Nyerere Way last Tuesday morning and suddenly started picking up rocks and hurling them at the speeding cars.
A police officer managing the traffic spotted crazy Ben’s rock-throwing antics and nabbed him on the spot.
Ben was hauled before a Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi. But before the case could proceed the magistrate ordered Ben to be taken to two psychiatrists for a brain check.
He was remanded in custody to July 24 pending mental examination.
