Former club manager Ronnie Ngwenya gets 12 years behind bars for rɑping teenage schoolgirl

Ronnie Ngwenya, a former night club manager, has been sentenced to an effective 12 years in jail for the aggravated ƨǝxuɑl assault of a teenage schoolgirl.

The sentence was handed down by Magistrate Fadzai Mthombeni, who suspended three years on the condition that Ngwenya does not commit any new ƨǝxuɑl offenses within the next five years.

Ngwenya was convicted after a full trial, but was acquitted of the two rɑpǝ counts he was facing. The case was brought by the state, with Zvikomborero Mupasa representing the prosecution.

The incident has sh0cked many in the community, with some praising the court for holding him accountable for his actions.
