The death of Zimbabwe’s famous preacher Ezekiel Guti has left the nation mourning, but a South African prophet claims this is just the beginning – foreseeing the impending death of another religious icon.
Prophet Mellontik Orasi SOS, known for accurately predicting celebrity demises, took to Facebook shortly after Ezekiel Guti’s passing was confirmed to reveal his ominous vision.
“Shortly Mwazha rests too according to the vision I relayed late last year,” wrote the prophet, suggesting that the leader of the African Apostolic Church will soon join his predecessor in the hereafter.
Paul Mwazha, poised to blow out 105 candles on his next birthday, is the oldest living church founder in Zimbabwe – though his advanced age has only stoked a nasty power struggle within his congregation.
Mwazha’s son Alfred Kushamisa has long sought to usurp his elderly father, even claiming to have taken control of the church. But another pastor, Reverend Ernest Mhambare, went to court – arguing Alfred had attempted “to seize the throne before his time.”
The High Court initially ruled in Mwazha’s favour, while the Supreme Court upheld the founder as leader – yet the bitter succession battle rages on.
