The police have identified the victims of a fatal car crash that occurred on the Harare-Masvingo Highway over the weekend.
Five people lost their lives in the horrific collision between a Toyota Allion vehicle and a bus.
The accident happened at the 81-kilometer mark on the highway on Saturday. The victims have been named as follows:
• Varaidzo Musapurwa (32)
• Maila Dungwizha (1)
• Alexio Kamumvuri (48), all from Impala Plains in Rovangoma, Karoi.
• Tatenda Kisi (22)
• Mudonhi Chihuri (33), both of Southerton, Harare.
Tragically, a one year old child was among those killed in the crash. The victims’ names were released by the police as they work to notify the families of the deceased and investigate the circumstances of the collision.
