Tragedy struck along the Harare-Chirundu Highway yesterday afternoon when two vehicles collided, leaving an unconfirmed number of people dead.
The accident occurred near Gwebi College when a Honda Fit collided with a commuter omnibus that had moved into the right lane. According to sources, some of the Honda Fit passengers and the driver died on the spot.
The police have confirmed the incident, with Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyati stating that they are working to gather more information about the accident and the number of casualties.
