Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and wife Miniyothabo Baloyi threw a lavish party to celebrate their first wedding anniversary according to photos posted on social media. While many Zimbabweans were not lucky enough to receive an invite, the public was given a glimpse of the celebrations after the army colonel wife posted pictures on Facebook.
The couple tied the knot last year following Chiwenga’s bitter divorce from ex-model Marry Mubaiwa. As they marked one year together, Baloyi posted snaps from their special day on Wednesday with the caption: “Today, one year nine days ago I married my muntu… Happy anniversary to us.”
Friends and followers joined in the celebrations, wishing the powerful couple more years of happiness. Baloyi is a successful businesswoman and well-educated linguist who speaks six languages.
She runs the upmarket boutique Style By Minnie which has dressed celebrities like Marvelous Nakamba. The well-matched pair seems to have found love again, celebrating in style as they look forward to building a future together.
