Sh0ck and horror gripped the community of Famona Business Centre in Inyathi, Matabeleland North, after the bodies of Thuthukile Mathobela (19) and Sizwile Ncube (24) were discovered with deep cuts on their bodies.
The unknown assailants brutally hacked the two men to death before dumping their bodies at the center. Police are still investigating the case and are appealing to the public for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
Thuthukile Mathobela was found with a deep cut on the chest while Sizwile Ncube had deep cuts on the back and both legs. The community is in mourning as they demand justice for the senseless killings.
Police confirmed the incident on their official Twitter handle on June 20, 2023, stating, “Police in Inyathi are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of two murder cases in which Thuthukile Mathobela (19) and Sizwile Ncube (24) were found dead at Famona Business Centre after being attacked by unknown assailants.”
The community is left shaken and in disbelief at the gruesome and violent nature of the crime. As the investigation continues, the police are urging anyone with information on the case to report to the nearest police station.
