Zimbabwe’s future looks bright under Mnangagwa’s leadership
Zimbabwe’s future looks promising under the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the ZANU-PF party, according to ZANU-PF national commissar Mike Bimha.
ZANU-PF believes they are poised for victory in the upcoming August elections due to their grassroots outreach efforts and internal restructuring. The party underwent a reorganization last year ahead of their party congress to refresh the structures and bring in new members.
The party has been preparing for these elections for the past two years, establishing structures and holding primary elections. Campaigning officially started with the opening of the recent workshop for ZANU-PF parliamentary candidates by President Mnangagwa himself. Bimha said the party is ready and confident of retaining its majority in parliament.
Despite facing international sanctions, Bimha said the Zimbabwean government under President Mnangagwa has made significant progress, with higher economic growth rates than other countries in the region. He credited both the government and the party for their good performance.
Bimha believes Zimbabwe’s future is poised to be shaped by President Mnangagwa’s visionary leadership and ZANU-PF’s determination to move the country forward.
