Zimbabwe's Finance bigwigs Mthuli Ncube and George Guvamatanga

Finance and Economic Development Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube has purchased a home in Cowdray Park in Bulawayo, where he intends to run for the Zanu-PF Member of Parliament seat. He has spent the past few months interacting with residents and participating in community activities to understand their needs better.

Prof Ncube said he wanted to be in sync with the people he seeks to represent, and their problems are his problems too. He plans to empower local entrepreneurs and has asked some of them to furnish his new home.

He intends to bring the kind of representation that the area lacked when he was growing up, which includes spearheading the development of roads, water, and drug rehabilitation centres. Prof Ncube wants to address drug abuse in the community in a scientific way by offering skills to the youth and providing necessary medical help.

He believes that Zimbabwe can only be built if everyone is focused and works together and urges all Members of Parliament to take their jobs seriously.
