On Monday morning, the body of a well-known woman named Tendai Lunga (32) was discovered outside a bar in Gokwe with multiple stab wounds. Her body was found by a local businessman named Takunda Mapota.
The Midlands Police Spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, confirmed that the incident was a case of murder. Lunga was rushed to Gokwe District Hospital, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Inspector Mahoko urged anyone with information related to the suspects linked to the case to come forward and provide information that will help with the investigation. The body of Lunga has been identified and is currently being held at Gokwe District Hospital Mortuary.
