A man from Maimba Village in the Chief Bushu area of Shamva district in Mashonaland Central Province was recently found dead after hanging himself.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Petros Madungwe. His body was discovered by his sister Maria hanging from a rope tied to the beam in his bedroom.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha, the tragic incident occurred on May 29th at around 2pm.
Villagers said Petros had a history of mental illness.
