A two-year-old girl died after being hit by a car while playing in the driveway of a home in Harare on Wednesday.
Police said the girl was playing with other children when she was run over by a Toyota Regius vehicle. The driver remained at the scene while police investigated the tragic incident.
In a separate hit-and-run case, police in Avondale are looking for the driver of a vehicle that fatally struck a pedestrian on Lomagundi Road on Thursday. The motorist fled the scene after hitting the victim, leaving police to investigate the fatal collision.
