In Bulawayo, a man from Trenance suburb was attacked by a group of people after he allegedly hit another driver with the butt of a pellet gun and fired randomly into the crowd of bystanders. The incident happened at a night spot on George Silundika Street.
The man, identified as Sean Chifana, got out of his car and accused Mqhele Sithole of reckless driving before hitting him on the head with the pellet gun. Chifana then fired the gun randomly into the crowd, causing chaos and panic.
One brave individual disarmed Chifana, and the group took turns punching and kicking him, leaving him with injuries to his head and face. They then handed him over to the police, and he was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The Bulawayo police spokesperson warned the public against taking the law into their own hands, emphasizing that such actions could result in jail time. Instead, he urged individuals to seek peaceful and lawful means of resolving disputes.
