Harare – A 19-year-old young woman from Marlborough suburb was subjected to a horrific gang rape ordeal on Saturday night after meeting her boyfriend for a late-night rendezvous. The incident occurred in a maize field in Westgate, leaving the young woman traumatised and prompting a police investigation.
According to reports, the woman left her house at approximately 10pm to meet her boyfriend, Tafara, a 44-year-old man who resides in the same area. The couple then drove to Greencroft to purchase food before returning to Marlborough.
Upon their return, Tafara parked his vehicle near the gate of his girlfriend’s house. As they were enjoying their food inside the car, two unidentified men approached them, posing as security officers on patrol.
