A shocking incident unfolded on Sunday at the Mountain Top Apostolic Ministries, leaving Pastor Isaac Zhou fighting for his life after a brutal stabbing. The attack occurred at the church’s usual service location, Lifelong College along Rotten Row Road, as Pastor Zhou prepared for the commencement of the service.

According to witnesses, the assailant, identified as Shingirayi Muyambo, launched a sudden attack on Pastor Zhou while he was with another female pastor who was busy decorating the stage for the service. The female pastor witnessed the horrifying event, seeing Pastor Zhou collapse to the ground after being stabbed in the chest with an okapi knife. She described seeing him bleeding profusely.

The motive behind the attack remains shrouded in mystery. The source of the dispute between Muyambo and Pastor Zhou is yet to be disclosed by authorities. Investigations are underway to shed light on the circumstances that led to this violent act.

Following the stabbing, Muyambo attempted to escape the scene. However, his escape attempt was short-lived as alert members of the public apprehended him and swiftly handed him over to the police. The okapi knife used in the attack was recovered from Muyambo and is currently being held as evidence.

The injured pastor was immediately rushed to receive medical attention. His condition is described as critical, and he is currently battling for his life in hospital.
