Citizens are grappling with a tragic mystery following the death of an unidentified man who was struck and killed by a Nissan Caravan, commonly known as a kombi, early on Friday morning.
The incident, which occurred along 12th Avenue Extension in Bulawayo, has left authorities searching for answers and seeking the identity of the deceased.
According to a statement released by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) on X, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 1:15 am on September 8th. The victim has been described as a male adult of about 35 years old and was wearing brown trousers and a black jacket when he was struck by the kombi, bearing registration number AFE 7547.
The police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the deceased. They are urging anyone with a relative who matches the description to contact the Bulawayo Central Police Station.
