In a tragic case of domestic violence, a 42-year-old woman from Maphisa, Kezi has been convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of her husband.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, on October 19, 2019, Sindiso Ndlovu locked herself and her husband, Busani Ncube, in their bedroom during an argument over his infidelity. Ndlovu then proceeded to douse Ncube with petrol and set him ablaze, intending to kill him.
