Missing Teen Sought After Harare Assault Incident

The police are urgently appealing to the public for information that could assist in locating a 14-year-old girl who went missing after allegedly assaulting a family member.

Ruvarashe Hamadziripi was last seen on June 4, 2024, when she fled her home in Retreat Park, Waterfalls, Harare, following an incident where she reportedly poured hot water on her uncle.

Police shared the details of the incident on their X handle.

“Police in Harare are appealing for information which may assist to locate Ruvarashe Hamadziripi (14) who went missing on 04/06/24 at Retreat Park, Waterfalls, Harare. The juvenile fled to an unknown destination after deliberately pouring hot water on her uncle.

“Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” reads the statement.
