Harare police arrest crystal meth dealer in Warren Park D
In a swift crackdown on drug-related crimes, the Harare police have arrested a 41-year-old man, Tonderai Muzondo Rusike, for possession of crystal meth.
Acting on received information, the police conducted a search at Rusike’s residence in Warren Park D on June 20, 2024. The search led to the recovery of four sachets of the illicit substance, which were found stashed under a sofa in the suspect’s home.
The arrest of Rusike is a significant win in the ongoing efforts to combat the proliferation of hard drugs within the community. Crystal meth, a highly addictive and dangerous stimulant, has been a growing concern for law enforcement agencies and public health authorities in the region.
The community is encouraged to collaborate with the police to help keep their neighbourhoods safe and free from the scourge of illegal drugs.
