In a tragic turn of events, a young man has lost his life in an altercation at a bar in Marange, Zimbabwe. According to the police, the incident occurred on June 20, 2024, at the Gomorefu Business Centre.
Ambrose Munhuumwe (32) has been arrested in connection with the murder of Raymond Jorina (23). It is alleged that Munhuumwe had an argument with a patron over a pool game when he swung an okapi knife towards the other individual. Unfortunately, the suspect missed his intended target and instead fatally stabbed Jorina, who was watching the pool game, in the stomach.
The victim was rushed to a nearby clinic but succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. The police were promptly notified, and Munhuumwe was apprehended in connection with the incident.
This senseless act of violence has sent shockwaves through the Marange community, leaving many to grapple with the tragic loss of a young life.
