The Ranaka family subsequently released a formal statement confirming Katlego’s passing on Thursday, 23 January. “It is with heavy hearts that we share the sorrowful news of the passing of our cherished Katlego ‘KG’ Ranaka on January 23,” the statement read.

Katlego, a 24-year-old mother of one, was already making her mark in the entertainment industry, following in her mother’s footsteps.
