Eat n’ Lick operations manager, Aleck Nyemba was recently fired for ƨǝxuɑl harassment.

Nyemba was notorious for harassing junior female employees at his workplace, and was on suspension pending investigations.

He was last week hauled before a disciplinary hearing that found him guilty.

Eat n’ Lick chairman, Bishop Isaiah Musabayana confirmed Nyemba’s sacking.

“He was on suspension on allegations of ƨǝxuɑl harassment, and the hearing was conducted in accordance with the labour laws of the land. He was subsequently found guilty and relieved of his duties,” he said.

Though Bishop Musabayana was evasive about the number of allegations, and their nature, The Weekender understands that Nyemba coerced some female employees into ƨǝxuɑl intimacy with him.

He would threaten those who spurned his advances with dismissal.

In some cases, Nyemba who often boasted of his superior position in the eatery as well as his proximity to Bishop Musabayana, would request some of his targets to accompany him to secluded places on the pretext that he wanted to meet the clergy.

On arrival he would pretend as if he had been sent by the boss, yet it was his own initiative to pounce on the unsuspecting employees.

A fast growing fast foods entity, Eat n’ Lick, which opened its 19th branch in Gweru in 2022, opened its first branch in Chinhoyi in 2014.

It has outlets in Harare, Mutare, Chegutu, Rusape, Chinhoyi, Karoi, Kadoma, Kwekwe, Chivhu and Gweru. Manica Post.
