A man identified as Masvingo, who was married and worked as a tout in Beitbridge, has died while hɑving ƨǝx with a suspected ƨǝx worker in the Garikai area of Beitbridge.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning while the two were found nakǝd and unconscious, stuck t0gether.
According to sources, Masvingo died from inhaling toxic fumes from a brazier (mbhaura) which they had lit to warm the room overnight. However, others suspect foul play, with some assuming that Masvingo was drugged and robbed.
The ƨǝx worker, identified as Peshy, was admitted to the hospital. Masvingo’s wife was among the onlookers but did not know that it was her husbɑnd until the police contacted her later.
The police have not yet released an official statement about the incident.
